Misleading advertisement as we booked for the hot tub. Judith said that the hot tub was damaged the day before but it clearly hadn’t been used in months. Nice local walks and the place was clean and pleasant but we left early as we wouldn’t have booked it if it was correctly advertised.

The location was stunning, the caravan was nice and clean. The view from the caravan was spectacular. But we booked this caravan for its view but also the kids wanted to have hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working at all. It keep saying EO2, we checked online as why it showed EO2 error messenger and there were five reasons of why there was EO2 error. So one of the reason was that the filter was dirty, so we cleaned the filter but still have the EO2 error showed up, so sent a text to the owner the first night as the kids were very disappointed that the hot tub was not working. But the owner has not repied to the text and there was no instruction as how to fix the problem neither who to contact to fix the problem. So we ended up not been able to use the hot tub at all. So for the price we paid as expected for the hot tub( as you know hot tub caravan is normally more expensive than the no-hot tub one), we were a bit disappointed.

We had an amazing time away at the lodge, the photographs simply do not do the place justice. Everything inside was clean and well cared for. There is a vast array of utensils, games, DVDs and a Sky TV box for evenings in. The lodge itself was well insulated and warmed up within ten minutes. Though if you are cold on a night, the duvet is thick and you have plenty of choice with pillows from the cupboard. Everything you could want is right on your doorstep: scenic walks, opportunities for water sports and a friendly local pub - which the residents made my partner and I feel welcome. The icing on the cake was the hot tub, which was heated up and ready to use for when we arrived. Please don’t be deterred by previous reviews that complain about bringing your own towels and toiletries. You’re staying at a self catered lodge, the host can’t possibly provide everything! We’ll definitely be returning soon, though for a longer stay.
