Lake living at its finest - our Allatoona beauty has it all. You are welcome to swim off the dock, use the kayaks or stand-up paddle boards and take advantage of one of Lake Allatoona's best coves. If relaxing is more your thing, we have an amazing screened-in porch perfect for napping, watching a football game or watching the wildlife in the backyard. This place is our home away from home and we have it equipped with all the comforts for you. Welcome to our 1955 Lake Allatoona Beauty! We have called this place home for the last three years and fell in love with the charm and peacefulness around us. We have spent the last year turning this old "lake cabin" into a thing of beauty and are ready to share it with you. Our home has 5 bedrooms: 2 on the main level with king beds and 3 bedrooms upstairs ( 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 with 2 full beds). We have 4.5 bathrooms - 2 full and one half bath on the main level and 2 full bathrooms upstairs. Outside......if you can tear yourself off the comfy screened in porch - we have a kayak and a stand up paddle board along with swim floats at the dock to use. Life jackets are limited so please bring your own. ~Children MUST be supervised when on the dock.~ We keep our boat in the water year round and will occasionally need to access it while the home is rented. You’re welcome to bring your boat, just let us know ahead of time so we can move ours. Our dock accommodates a standard pontoon size boat, 20 feet is covered, with the bimini retracted. There's a propane grill to use and we've also listed some of our favorite places in the area to eat in our Guidebook. Inside ( I mean you are here for the lake but at some point you will be inside).....we have board games in the TV console, a chefs dream kitchen and ample space for everyone to be comfortable. We are from New Orleans so the word Lagniappe (lan-yap) is a big part of our life. Lagniappe means - a little extra, like a bonus or a bakers dozen. This home was rebuilt with that idea in mind and we hope you enjoy all the lagniappe and love we have put in it. A few things to note.... ~We are on a septic system. Please don’t flush ANYTHING down the toilet except toilet paper. ~ ~When you walk in the home and turn right there is a small step down that is clearly marked with reflective tape. ~ ~To get to the dock you must walk down a paved hill and stairs in our backyard.~ ~There’s a propane grill outside that you are welcome to use. It must be lit with a lighter ( there’s one in the kitchen drawer) and there’s extra propane under the carport in the storage bin.~ ~Quiet hours are strictly enforced. No Parties permitted.~ FYI: water levels start to drop in October, however the dock is pushed out and usually has some amount of water year round - Jan/ Feb are the lowest months.
