Guests can settle in for the evening snuggled in front of either the wood burning fireplace on the main level or the gas fireplace on the lower level. The work is scheduled to be completed late summer 2023. Ski Out: From the home you will ski directly across Rising Bull Road, down a small hill to the base of White Otter lift. It takes less than a minute. Ski In: There are two options. Either go to the bottom of White Otter lift and hike 3 minutes up the ski trail you ski out on to the home. The second option is ski to the base of Cascade lift and take the lift across the road. Once getting off the Cascade lift, you will follow the Middle River green run to the home. You will go under the main road (Lone Mountain Trail) through a ski tunnel and exit the groomed trail where you started the ski out (cross Rising Bull Road and your home will be right there). Not recommended for snowboarders or young children as the ski in does involve some lower angle terrain where you may need to skate. The home is not ski in/ski out if White Otter lift is not running. The start date for White Otter lift varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions.
