Ruben’s place was perfect for our needs! The space was clean and well stocked, especially the kitchen. I was so happy to find a spice rack available to use. There was also a dog bed provided which was much appreciated by our pup! The setting is quiet and peaceful, with lovely large trees surrounding the property. Location was very convenient to south Portland where we were visiting some friends. Despite the recent ice storm, we had a lovely stay!

Rueben & Karen were such gracious, kind hosts. Unfortunately, we rented the place during a snow storm that took out the power lines. We didn’t have electricity. They kept checking in on us, brought us a a kerosene heater, & other things to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The place was so clean and cozy! The kitchen had pretty much everything you could need. Despite circumstances out of everyone’s control we enjoyed our stay and the peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommended this spot with such great hosts!

Best Airbnb for dogs we've ever seen! Huge fenced backyard for our 2 large dogs to feel at home. Place was fabulous, especially the full size kitchen with all the amenities since we enjoy cooking. We loved the woodsy feel of neighborhood and that we could walk to Tryon Creek SP. Zero complaints, wonderful 4-night stay. Karen was sweet and attentive -- thanks!

Good stay for a couple nights surrounded by the beautiful nature of SW Portland. We didn’t spend much time in the unit itself, but it was conveniently located where we needed it to be for a couple nights to sleep and house our cat! They put out a kitty bed and kitty bowls for our cat that added a nice touch and decorated for Christmas so that we could be in the spirit of the season even being displaced from our home. They accommodated our parking as well.

Ruben and Karen's space was exactly what we expected, cute, quaint, quiet. They were both very communicative and easy to get a hold of. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Karen and their cute kids. We read one other review stating that the guest felt exposed in the evening and that the space was chilly, however, we did not have an issue with either of these things. The mini-split kept the space quite warm! The location is actually pretty private, though there are other homes nearby. We were comfortable and would stay again.
