Nettes, eigentlich gemütliches Reihenhaus, das oberhalb der Straße liegt, also Gepäck hineintragen ist etwas mühsam. Die Straße ist viel befahren, dadurch ist es in einem Schlafzimmer laut. Es fehlt leider an einigen Ecken an Pflege, um das Haus wirklich einladend zu machen. Die eingebauten Kleiderschränke sind muffig und vergammelt, z.T. liegt alte Bettwäsche drin. Die Dusche hat alte, vergammelte Silikonfugen, es fehlt ein Duschtürelement, das durch einen Vorhang ersetzt wurde. Die Küchenschränke sind innen schmutzig und es gibt viel altes Zeug, alles zusammengewürfelt, während einige wichtige Sachen fehlen. Positiv ist die Lage, man kann zu Fuß an den Hafen laufen, wo etliche Restaurants sind. Auch David war freundlich und hat schnell auf Anfragen reagiert.

The house in Kinsale was roomy, had easy parking and was extremely convenient for walking into town (5 mins walk along a paved footpath). The standard of finish in the house was disappointing and I suspect the house is a work in progress. We had a very nice stay though. Just worth noting that you’re paying for the location - which is great.

David was a very good host and kindly left essentials in the kitchen, which was a nice surprise! The house is in a very good location in proximity to Kinsale harbour. However, the steps up to the house are not suitable for a buggy if you have small children.

David, our host, is a good communicator and responded to my questions and issues quickly. Either before our stay and during. The property is walkable into Kinsale and in a relative quiet area. Although you can hear cars on the main road. There are quite a few outdoor communal stairs from the road to get into the property and some of these stairs need repair. So we had to be careful. The property is a bit dilapidated and could do with some update. There was no outside light, or it didn't come on when we were there, so approaching the front door at night, we used our phones. Unfortunately, the house had not been cleaned very well. The rubbish bin was filthy on the outside and there was rubbish inside it. One of the cabinets had stains inside it. The shower wall had a hair and the carpet was dirty. When we informed David, some of those areas were cleaned again by the cleaner. The TV also had lines on the screen and then stopped working. David was always polite and helpful.
