Please note: Parties are absolutely NOT allowed. This home is a peaceful, summer vacation oasis, perfect for one or more families to relax together, bbq’ing and swimming in the San Antonio sunshine! The backyard has a huge patio and dining table that seats 14 as well as a cozy fire pit with Adirondack chairs and lots of shade in the summer from the spreading oak trees, fig tree and grape vines. The pool is fully fenced with a gate to help protect our little guests. The patio around the pool has several lounge chairs, benches and rocking chairs. Play ping pong, grill and chill in this amazing backyard retreat. What does No Parties mean? That means that groups of families or friends talking, laughing, eating and playing in the pool is fantastic. Loud music is absolutely not allowed. Screaming and yelling is not allowed. Outdoor decorations like confetti, glitter and piñatas are absolutely not allowed. Parking is limited to a total of four cars which must be parked in the driveway. Quiet hours start at 8pm, which means that no activity or music should be audible to the neighbors on their patios. Quiet pool usage after 8pm is allowed, but it should not include loud yelling, splashing, or pool games, etc. The neighbors should be able to relax on their patios without feeling like you are invading their space. We’re sorry to have to spell all this out; however, many guests this year have disrespected our neighbors by blasting loud music & bright lights and having a dozen little kids screaming in the pool at 10pm. Treat our neighbors like your neighbors and it will all be great - they are good people! If you’re looking for a free-for-all house, choose somewhere else. This is a neighborhood where people treat each other with respect. Our yard is also equipped with a fantastic mosquito repellent system that is both non-toxic and environmentally friendly. You'll see several large, black pots of water in the backyard. Those contain a mosquito specific larvicide and insecticide that is harmless to humans, but deadly to mosquitoes. That way you can enjoy the yard without mosquitoes. San Antonio mosquitoes can eat you alive if you don’t have this system. Please do not bump or move the pots or put anything in them. Messing with the repellent system will result in a $150 extra charge. New Upgrades in the House Include: Pool Heater, Additional Half-Bath Downstairs and King Handicapped Accessible Master Suite Downstairs. We also recently upgraded all of our bedding to French-style duvets with inserts. That means that every single blanket or sheet that you touch is washed after EVERY SINGLE STAY. When you enter the house, you can choose between the spacious Living Room with big screen TV and cozy couches or the GINORMOUS Game Room with foosball, giant wall tic-tac-toe, tons of board games and a view of the pool. This is the perfect home for eating in with the largest dining room table you’ve ever seen, an additional large kitchen table that seats 4, everything you need to cook your favorite meals and so many great take-out places nearby for when you don’t want to cook. Downstairs you’ll also find a half bath and a handicapped accessible Master suite with a sliding door that opens onto the fire pit in the backyard. The downstairs master suite has a big screen Smart TV and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. Upstairs you'll find a second GIANT Master Suite with a King bed, extra bunks, huge Smart TV and a bathroom with a glass walk-in shower and huge tub for two. Hang out in the loft upstairs and enjoy a movie on the giant loft Smart TV or let the kids play with a multitude of books and toys. Upstairs, you’ll also find a bunk room that sleeps 8 and a roomy Queen bedroom with a big screen Smart TV and a view of the pool as well as a third full bathroom. Our large driveway accommodates up to 4 cars. Cars must be parked in the driveway. Again, this is a no party house. We cater to families looking for a phenomenally relaxing vacation. Smoking is absolutely not allowed in the house. In the backyard, smoking is allowed so long as cigarette butts are properly disposed of in the proper receptacles.
