This is a great place to stay. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's a comfortable bed and a large private bathroom. I had a small, comfortable desk for working remotely. The house is located very close to the city center. Thomas is a very friendly and polite person. Thank you very much. It was a pleasure to stay here.
I had the pleasure of staying in this charming studio during my visit to Minneapolis, and it exceeded all my expectations! Firstly, the location is unbeatable. Situated in a quiet neighborhood yet within short distance to the city center. The studio itself is thoughtfully designed and impeccably clean. Despite its compact size, every inch is utilized efficiently, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. The decor creates a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Thomas was incredibly accommodating and responsive, providing clear instructions for check-in and promptly addressing any questions I had during my stay. In summary, I highly recommend this studio to anyone visiting Minneapolis
The neighborhood is a diverse, busy and urban area with some charm and a lot of grit. Although the neighborhood is very urban, I do consider it quite safe.
There are a number of cafes and stores within walking distance. The Boiler Room cafe is a charming garden level coffee shop situated in the a boiler room of a commercial building and is 2 blocks away. CVS is about 2 blocks away as well. MIA or Minneapolis Institute of Arts and The Minneapolis Convention Center are about 5 blocks away. A restaurant called The Copper Hen is about a 7 block walk and has French fusion food and a charming high end country aesthetic (think Marie Antoinette playing peasant in her pretend village). Slice of New York is 5 blocks away, open late, and has the kind of delicious and greasy pizza slices one would grab before hopping on the subway for a night out in New York. The Bad Waitress (a diner), a Pizzeria called Black Sheep Pizza, and Pancho Villa Mexican Restaurant are all good choices on 26th and Nicollet, which is about 8 blocks away. Ice House is on 25th and Nicollet and has great food, live music, and outdoor seating adjacent to a pocket park with a water feature and sculptures. The Black Forest is a German Beer Garden with German food (nothing to write home about) but a really lovely outdoor terrace. Little Tijuana Restaurant is open super late and has great Mexican food. Rainbow Chinese is excellent and about 12 to 14 blocks away along with Quangs and Pho 79 which are both lively and affordable. There are a number of Asian Restaurants on Nicollet which people like, but I have not personally tried them.
Street parking is usually available during the day but often difficult to find a spot at night. Usually there are spots within a three block radius. If you want to park closer feel free to text me and I can almost certainly make an off street parking spot available for $10 per day. Bus lines run within less than a block to 3 blocks away and connect with light rail. Entrances and exits to all major freeways and highways are just around the corner.
