The place was just perfect for us! Clean and tidy, great host communication, and very accommodating for cooking and lake play! The lake is not great for swimming, but the canoes and dock were fun and quiet. We came to take our teens to their first concert at Pine Knob, and it was roomy and close to the venue

As hosts in New Orleans, we know what it takes to make a nice place for guests. Richard’s place was spacious, quiet, comfy, and clean. He and Debbie both were gracious, kind, and accommodating; we had the pleasure of staying and working remotely three nights with their super fast internet. It was close to where we were attending a conference, and it was off a major thoroughfare, which made it convenient for us to get to and from the events, but we couldn’t hear the main street at all from the house, which was great. All the neighbors waved at us and we felt safe. We had beautiful views onto the lake from most every window in the house. The living area and kitchen had all we needed. The bathroom was nice with a spacious walk-in shower and plenty of light, and the main bed was AMAZING - so comfortable, pillows included. Overall great space and would love the opportunity to stay again (and hopefully by then, the roadwork will be done and the street will be paved!). Thanks, y'all!

Our stay was amazing. The house smelled so fresh and clean. We had our 4 year old and 6 year old and they had a great time. Super close to the mall and a lot of good restaurants. Deb was really fast at responding and just super polite. Definitely recommend this place if you want a peaceful relaxing stay. We can’t wait to go back!

We have a unique situation of always traveling with our dogs. Richard was generous enough to let us stay in his home, and it was perfect for us as we visited our daughter who is in school nearby. The place was spotless but also dog-friendly with dog water bowls accessible as soon as we came in! The lake setting is spectacular and very peaceful. Highly recommend staying at such a great place with a welcoming host.
