Our enchanting house features a charming garden and convenient car parking, providing a tranquil oasis amidst the urban buzz. Its timeless architecture embodies classic Icelandic design, emphasizing its cozy, homely atmosphere. Please note that the presence of two steep staircases may limit accessibility for those with mobility impairments. Upon entering, find comfort in the cozy library and vestibule, offering a perfect space to hang your jackets and kick off your boots after a day of exploration. The warm and inviting living room features wooden-clad walls, comfortable corner sofas, and a flat-screen TV with media platforms. Sink into Scandinavian-inspired furniture adorned with soft pillows, creating an ambiance of relaxation and homeliness. The dining room, with its wooden-clad walls, presents an expandable table for up to 8 people. The adjacent open-plan white kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare a hearty breakfast before your Icelandic adventures. The Italian-tiled bathroom features a bath/shower combination, a spacious sink, a WC, a bidet, as well as a washer-dryer and aeration system for your convenience. Ascend the steep stairs to the upper floor, where a cozy bedroom area awaits beneath the sloping roof. Bedroom 1, "Rose" with wooden-clad walls, abundant natural light, a double bed, and ample storage space, provides a serene retreat. Two more bedrooms with twin beds reflect Iceland's architectural style, featuring double-glazed windows and small upper openings, art and calm white surroundings. If you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing Northern Lights through the sloping roof windows. Bedroom 2, "Apple" offers a roof window, a cozy wardrobes, and two cleverly designed stacked single beds, one of which which can be pulled out to form twin or adjacent beds. The "Art" themed Bedroom 3 sits between 1 and 2 and features a double-glazed roof window, 2 stackable single beds and shelves. Please note that this bedroom does not have an independent door in itself but is adjacent to the other two. Please refer to the photos to see this. An additional seventh bed can be obtained by turning the living room into a sofa All windows have blackout blinds for darkness in the light Icelandic summer nights. If needed, a cot can be provided upon request, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay. Notably, the west-facing windows offer stunning views of the spacious garden, where trees and birds create a serene atmosphere—an unexpected oasis in the heart of the vibrant city. Please note that keeping the windows open may result in some weekend noise, adding to the lively ambiance and energy of the surrounding area.
