The Cottage "Zorgenfrei" is set in the small climatig health resort called Zorge. It is the perfect base for a variety of acitivities such as: hiking, skiing, sledging, motorbiking, swimming, mountainbiking, dining, culture, history and much more. All those options are reachable in a close radius of max. 20 Km. The Cottage offers a comfortable place for couples, families and friends up to 6 people. This holiday home consits of two floors. On the first floor there is a kitchen, dining and livingroom, bathroom as well as a washing and storage area. On the second floor there are 3 sleeping room (1x connecting room). Room 1: 1,80m x 2,00 m bed Room 2: 1,80m x 2,00 m bed (connecting romm to room 3) Room 3: 0,80m x 2,00 m bed (extendable to 1,60 m, with 2 mattresses). The connected room can perfectly be used for families. There is also enough space to set a self brought babybed. The little house is set at a quite street right next to a stream.

Sehr schönes Haus in schöner Lage, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Küche und Bad sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Ausstattung war so, dass nan sich sehr wohl gefühlt hat und alles da war, was man brauchte. Sogar sehr leckerer Kaffee war vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut, freundlich und schnell erreichbar. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, Bettwäsche und jede Menge Handtücher vorhanden. Leider gab es im Kinderzimmer keinen Heizkörper, so dass es dort recht frisch war. Der Raum hatte keine eigene Tür, sondern ist nur mit einem Vorhang vom Elternschlafzimmer abgetrennt, was der mitreisende Teenager nicht so toll fand. Alle anderen Räume sind super. Lediglich das Sofa reichte nur für 3 Personen, wir hätten uns noch ein zweites Sofa oder 2 weitere Sessel gewünscht. Insgesamt aber eine tolle Unterkunft für einen schönen Urlaub, die wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden!

Rigtig hyggeligt sted og naturskøn by. Dog ikke så meget liv i byen i juli. Huset levede op til forventningerne og vi kommunikerede et par gange med udlejer, som svarede hurtigt og imødekommende på vores henvendelser. Det ville have været dejligt med en fryser i huset. Bortset fra det har vi været meget tilfredse.
Zorgenfrei is a typical German mountain home. Very charming with wooden details, but also modernized for extra comfort. The bathroom is very new and comfortable. The living room is very pleasant decorated, light with colorful details. The kitchen is dated, but well equipped. Upstairs are 2 grand bedrooms and 1 small bedroom. The 2 grand bedrooms have roller shutters so the rooms can easily get dark to sleep well. The small bedroom has a roller blind. The floor creaks on some points. Very convenient there is a washbasin upstairs as well. There are also toys for children of different ages. There are lots of places to stow away your belongings. The surroundings are very nice and calm. Beautiful mountains! Parking isn't easy. You can unload your car by arrival but have to park further away. Only residents can park in front. In the village aren't many services. For most shopping you have to go to another village.

Zorge is located 15 minutes away fromt the highway A38.
The closesed bigger villages are Walkenried and Ellrich (5km). There you will find every daily needs.
A bakery and a butcher are available in Zorge itself as well as some tiny restaurants.
Hiking tracks start right in Zorge.
Only a few carminutes away you will finde the famous "Harz" cities like Hohegeiß, St. Andreasberg and Braunlage with endless options of winter and summer mountain activities.
