The Hayloft is really cosy and comfy. Lovely countryside setting and had all the amenities I needed. Felt right at home.

Beautiful location, friendly family and lovely host who left us welcoming milk, orange juice, and some Christmas goodies, so kind. Highly recommended as one of the best Airbnb I have been to. Added bonus, I was able to bring my two Chih tzu with me. Stranraer and the surrounding area have a lot to offer the tourist or holiday maker from beautiful local gardens at Logan Botanic Gardens to Bruce's stone nestled in the mountains and forests past Castle Kennedy. Also, Port Patrick is not far away. There are so many other places to explore and discover for yourselves once you get here. Thank you for being such a great host Anne

If you like peace and quiet, and a lovely view to go with that, then this ticks the boxes! The Hay Loft is comfortable and had everything we needed. Its location is good for access in all directions, and we enjoyed many lovely walks along the coast and the Galloway Forest, amongst other places. The history of the area is also fascinating, whether that dates back thousands of years or more recently. We were very fortunate with the weather too, and found that we encountered the smallest number of midges we have ever done in Scotland!
