This Lake-house is gorgeous. All the rooms are beautiful, especially the great room with a view of the lake. So much room to sit, cook, relax and enjoy the views. The host responded quickly with a few questions we had. Everything we needed was supplied to us. Thanks for the hospitality David and Elaine.

My family and I stayed at this home while visiting to attend my daughter’s wedding. The property is only 20 minutes from the venue and other stores/gas/restaurants, making the location perfect -not to mention it being very peaceful on the pond! We really didn’t hear neighbors at all. The house totally accommodated us, including my elderly parents who appreciated the main floor bedroom and bathroom. The house was really comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and it felt like it could’ve been home. David was an excellent host who is proactive with great instructions , prompt replies and displayed thoughtfulness in his hospitality to us on every occasion. This was a truly wonderful experience. I highly recommend David and this property while visiting Maine.

This home is a gem. It is private, large, fully supplied with soft sheets and great towels. Kitchen is beautifully stocked. I love that there is salt, pepper, spices, sugar- the usual stuff that a well stocked kitchen has- a rarity in my AirBnB experience. We cooked our meals at home, had all we needed. The dock is fabulous, great for reading, heading off to paddleboard, kayak, swim. Great spot to stretch out at night and see the stars as very little light pollution. It was a peaceful and lovely few days, exactly as described. We hope to return next summer with our adult kids. So grateful to have found this lovely spot and home. Thank you, David and Elaine.

David and Elaine went above and beyond to accommodate guests. Their house is stocked with all condiments, staples, toiletries, towels, linens, water toys you could ever need, and they share them generously. They even ask their guests to let them know if they run out of spices so they can restock! They provide detailed instructions for everything needed. The house is beautiful and immaculate with plenty of room for up to ten guests. The property sits on a small peninsula which makes for a wraparound view of the lake from the dock. All of the rooms on the ground floor have beautiful views of the lake as well. The owners were thoughtful and considerate. They needed to fix a dryer that had been damaged by a power outage and scheduled the work around our convenience. We felt welcome and well cared for. Best Airbnb we’ve been to! We will definitely be back.

The hosts were responsive and helpful before we even arrived as well as during our stay. I’ve stayed at several places that weren’t as nice as the photos but this place was just beautiful and did not disappoint! It was so quiet and peaceful sitting on the deck and out on the dock enjoying the cool weather. We enjoyed our morning exercise running on road around the neighborhood loop. We cook and the kitchen was well equipped for serious cooks and we LOVED the large cuisinart electric kettle for our pour over coffee! The beds were comfy and towels and linens were top notch. Additionally, The use of the kayaks and paddle board added extra fun. Overall fantastic experience!
