Sleep among the trees and spend some time living the rural Nicaraguan way. This is a Nicaraguan eco-farm with a view of the Pacific Ocean and access to a secluded waterfall. Head down to the river to cool off and take in the wildlife. Take a walk along the trails in our traditional, humble village. Harvest some of the plants and wild edibles around the farm. Visit with our friendly neighbors. * Note: This is a rustic accomodation in rural Nicaragua where the wind and rain may be heavy at times. You will be mostly on your own during your stay, but we regularly check airbnb messages throughout the day. The tree hut has electricity, two twin beds, and an extra folding bed (tijera). It's designed with 360° views as fresh air and ample daylight flow through the space. Sit out on the balcony overlooking the countryside and ocean. You have access to a beautiful waterfall, our agroforestry farm, and a traditional Nicaraguan village. Your stay includes access to the kitchen and cooking basics: cookware, utensils, cooking oil, basic spices, etc. The local caretaker is Spanish speaking only and can assist you during your stay if needed. The waterfall is a short walk away on foot. Feel free to visit at your leisure. Activities: Head to the secluded beaches of la Boquita. Learn to forage seasonal plants in the tropical forest of the Pacific. Learn to prepare common Nicaraguan food. Look for the howler monkeys along the river. Relax and read books in a hammock. Introduce yourself and chat with neighbors in Spanish.
