The whole fam LOVED the place. (We literally just got back in Manila, as I type this). We loved the simplicity of everything in it, specially if you've been living in the concrete jungle for most of your life. What you see as advertised, is what you'll get and more (also considering the rate). The cherry on top would be the caretaker kuya Ogie, who patiently assisted us in almost everything. We were given a fruit basket for free by Kuya Ogie, and all the available produce of the land (fruits, plants, seedlings..etc free!) Key pointers : - Stay in touch with kuya Ogie as soon as you arrive in Masico - Prepare to drive on unpaved and some muddy parts along the way - I wouldn't recommend huge bulky SUVs and pickup trucks unless you are a super-pro driver (you will need to cross a narrow bridge to get there, it can't be a bit scary, but when you get to the place, its worth it!) Wishlist: - i hope they get more elec fans (for day time use) - Screens on windows/sliding doors for the flies
Kudos to Kuya Ogie, the caretaker - took care of all our needs, guided us going in and out of the place (this is quite a challenge because the road is very narrow, unpaved and muddy) and even gave us some fruits to bring home. Overall, the place is a great place to stay except that they need to put more electric fans coz it gets really hot during the day time.
The place was so nice, exactly how it looks in the photos. Kitchen was great and had everything we need. We got to take home produce that the caretaker thoughtfully picked for us. Our dogs had space to roam around. It was a bit challenging to reach the place. We were driving an SUV, and the only way in was to cross a short and narrow bridge perpendicular to a narrow street, so there wasn't much space to back up. The path to get to the place was also narrow and unpaved, so our car went through a lot going in and out.
Truly a hidden gem. The place is so much better in person and very spacious. Kuya Ogie was very accommodating and gave us some fruits. I highly recommend this to other guests.
1. The caretaker (Ogie) was incredibly accommodating, assisting us with our requests and fulfilling our needs. 2. We enjoyed complimentary fruits harvested on the farm, including rambutan, papaya, and banana. We were even able to take some home. 3. Despite the absence of air conditioning in the rooms, the temperatures were pleasantly cool from late evening until morning. 4. We did notice a significant presence of insects, but it’s reasonable given the farm setting. 5. Our 3 dogs were free to roam around the place as we had the property to ourselves. 6. Host was very responsive to our queries before the check in. She endorsed us well to the caretaker just before check in. 7. Overall, our family had an enjoyable experience - quiet, peaceful and relaxing time.
En pleine nature, mais à seulement quelques minutes des petits commerces.
le mieux est de venir avec votre propre moyen, voiture ou moto. Mais il y a des arrêts de bus à Pila, ensuite vous pouvez prendre un tricycle ou jeepney.
