Location location location! This comfortable holiday home is nestled between the popular "Golden Mile" (Bree street) and the mighty Vaal River. Just a short walk to many activities including restaurants, coffee shops, antique and collectable dealers, galleries, markets and so much more. The holiday home offers a comfortable lounge, separate dinning area, 4 cozy sleeping areas, an office with an descent variety of books, a separate kitchen, a great braai area and a lovely garden. It is a safe home and has off street undercover parking. Included is a curtesy hot beverage station, soap and shampoo, braai wood and/or charcoal, cleaning services, safe, high speed WiFi, DSTV Access and Netflix.

The place is old, so it feels like you are stepping back in time, but not in a bad way. Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Adam is a fantastic host, proactive and super responsive. He met us in person to show us the house and explain everything, checked in every morning to make sure everything is fine. The house location is excellent, peaceful and withing easy walking distance from the river and the town. The only reason we did not give a 5 start rating throughout is the fact that the place is a little rundown, but Adam explained that they are busy with renovations.
Adam's place was delightful. it was big, clean with excellent proximity to good restaurants and the main tourist street. We really enjoyed the outdoor enterainment area, where we could chill and relax.

Parys is a very popular holiday destination. It is in the epicenter of a meteor impact site called the Vredefort Dome. The Vredefort Dome is a representative part of a larger meteorite impact structure, or astrobleme. Dating back over 2,000 million years, it is the oldest yet found on Earth. With a radius of 190 km. It is also the largest and the most deeply eroded. Parys is a small town but is abuzz with many activities for all ages, especially over weekends and holidays.
The home is walking distance from the "Golden Mile" Bree street and the river. Getting around in a car is also easy as most acrivies are within a short radius.
