With a great location on Townsend St the property is perfectly positioned for your next getaway! A short 5 minute walk and you'll be at The Bowlo, Banjos Pub and 'Old Town Centre' full of awesome cafes, shops, restaurants, bars and a supermarket! Outdoors more your thing? With the lake and bike trails a stones throw away you are perfectly positioned to start exploring Jindy! 'Pooh Bay' as known by locals is a great hangout spot (100mts from The Hideaway) lakeside where you'll usually find a few people swimming and paddle boarding as its protected from the wind but also roped off to boats so you can swim and Paddleboard safety!

We loved our stay at Dean’s place. The hosts were very responsive and check-in instructions were clear. Very clean - no insects, comfortable bedding. Really nice set up which could easily fit 6 people, good kitchen and dining area as well as lounge room for 6+ people. We loved our stay there. Nice lake views
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der gemütlichen Wohnung sehr genossen. Nicht weit von Shops und Restaurants und nur ein paar Schritte vom See entfernt (herrlich mit Hund!). Unkomplizierte Kommunikation, alles vorhanden, alles tiptop. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!
Dean was responsive and a friendly communicator. Unfortunately the place was quite dirty, mould in the bathroom, dog hair Easy walk to the Main Street which is great! But the is no privacy from neighbours below and next door
Great spot with easy walking access to Jindabyne shops, the breweries and walking trails. Just what we needed for a relaxing couple of days away. Nice and cosy with a great view of the lake
Great place for a weekend getaway in Jindabyne. Neat and tidy apartment with everything you might need. Excellent proximity to the lake and easy walk to the shops/ restaurants.

Located on Townsend St, The Hideaway is tuckered perfectly away from the hustle and bustle of the main road and CBD but only a short 2 minute walk to the lake and 5 minutes to some of Jindabynes great shops, cafes, bars and pubs!
Jindabyne itself is easily asked on foot with anywhere in town a short 5-10 minute walk away. There's also bike hires shops located nearby if that's more your style to access some great paths and trails!
During winter NSW Transport operate regular buses from Jindabyne to Thredbo, Perisher and the Ski Tube Train for around $25 return. The closest bus stop is only a 3 minute walk away! This service is highly recommend in winter to avoid traffic and parking issues as some resorts parking spaces can fill up and you'll be turned away. Also so you can enjoy some cheeky apres on the mountain without fear of being over the limit.
Jindabyne has one taxi however it can be quite unreliable and hard to book. There are some Uber drivers in the area however they tend to only operate during busy periods such as School Holidays and the Winter Season.
