The apartment was as described and matched the photos, it has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. I can't rave enough about the town of North Utica, Illinois and the vast amount of places to eat, drinks, and neat little shops. Everything is in walking distance and all of the hiking trails and nature is a short little drive away. Apartment was clean, felt secure, and had a beautiful view of historic downtown. The check-in process was easy, never had to guess. I will look to book this property for numerous future visits to Starved Rock State Park.
This was our second stay and it was another enchanted date for my wife and I. The unit is easy to get into (keypad systems at other AirBnBs have not worked as smoothly). There is natural light everywhere, which my wife loves. We ate dinner at the table in front of the window above Mill Street and people watched. It is a 90 second walk to August Hill Winery. It is a ~5 minutes drive to the Starved Rock parking lot. We hiked 7 miles to "earn" our champagne and caught La Salle canyon on day with a large waterfall. Then we saw an eagle on the way back to the unit. A great day!
