They call it a "shanty" but a hovel would be more appropriate as it is very quaint and homey. My son and I go on annual fishing trips to Sneads Ferry and this time stayed with Patricia and Bill. It had a sink, stove and minifridge as well as a chest freezer in the screened in porch. Perfect for our needs! This is the first time that we ever even turned on a TV but the first 2 days were rainy and too window to get out of the inlet so we did watch a couple of movies. From a boating/fishing perspective. They are close enough to the Fulcher Landing ramp that getting onto and off of the water is a breeze. Even on days when the lot is full, you will have a place to park. There are outlets close enough to where you will park your boat that recharging electronics is never an issue. As my boat has a lot of electronics running it is always a concern for me. All in all, it was a great time at a great place with wonderful people.

A wonderful waterfront spot. Host communication was excellent, responsive, and accomidating. As described - perfect setup for a family and fully stocked kitchen with appliances. Highly recommended and at a great price for value. I would stay here again.

Very homey, comfortable place right next to the water, pretty and peaceful. Very convenient to Camp Lejeuene. Patricia was very nice host and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely book again the next time I visit.
