Peaceful, nice area without all the hustle bustle of the city. Wish we got there little earlier to enjoy the pond and do some hiking around. The house was cute with everything needed for the family. Will def have to come back sometime.

High Forest Cottage is a beautiful serene property with lots of space and beauty to enjoy! Just about 10 minutes from town. It was the perfect place to have space while we were in town for a funeral. Comfortable beds. Relaxing space. Laura was very responsive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

My kids and I spent 4 nights at this wonderful place - it was everything we were looking for in a get-away from the hustle and bustle of home. We slept great and played outdoors. Laura and her team at the store welcomed us and made us feel like family. We will definitely treasure this memory and plan to return as soon as we can.

We had a delightful time here this weekend celebrating my husband's birthday with all our children and grand children. The cottage was perfect for our rather large crowd and sits in a beautiful area. The kids loved being on the water even with a little rain. Laura Frances responded quickly every time I needed something. This is truly a magical spot!

The house was beautiful and felt very welcoming. The ponds and surrounding woods were peaceful to enjoy walking around. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving week and would highly recommend it. I also like that a store if needed was 10 minutes away. Meriwether Market was minutes away with a amazing ice cream bar. We will definitely stay here again.
