The Mazarin district was created in the 17th century in the south of the medieval city by the brother of Cardinal Mazarin, to accommodate the nobles and parliamentarians of the time. The district is highly sought after for the tranquility of its streets, the beauty of its private mansions and its immediate proximity to downtown activities.

For cars, access is limited because "rue d'Italie" is closed to motorized vehicles and you have to go through the rue Frédéric Mistral and then "rue Peysonnel" to arrive in front of the building.
To unload luggage, it is possible to park for a few moments at the end of Rue Peysonnel, which is not very busy, or in the reserved space of the nearby hotel. It is then necessary to find an authorized parking space.
There is the Carnot parking lot (boulevard Carnot) and the Mignet parking lot (avenue Malherbes) at 5 and 7 minutes walking distance - free for 15 minutes then 1€/45mn with a decreasing rate until 20€/24h.
There is also the Malacrida parking relay (at the bottom of Cours Gambetta). It is a 30 minute walk and a 10 minute bus ride away with frequent bus services (the price of the bus is included in the price of the parking) - 3,5 €/24h then 15 €/24h the following days.
It is also possible to park in the surrounding streets.
It is difficult to park in the immediate vicinity because there are few places available, except in the early morning around 7-8am and in the evening around 5-6pm. More easily at 5 or 10 minutes walking distance to the south - 1€/h, free the first hour and a half, between 12am and 2pm, between 7pm and 8pm and on holidays.
