PLUS Shared access to our huge rooftop at the next building: • Many courtyards, seating areas • Stunning ocean views and sunrise across the water • Lots of seating areas • A shared kitchen NATURE TO BE SEEN: • The little monkeys (micos) visit most days, they're friendly and wild. Swinging through the trees searching for bananas, the whole family visit us with the kids! • 2-3 toucans visit most weeks. Bright colours, they are stunning • If lucky you may see an eagle flying down from the mountain or the apes that occasionally swing through the trees!

Fue lo mejor que me pasó en Río. Poder estar inmerso en la selva frente al Sheraton y poder ir a las mejores playas caminando de forma súper segura. Incluso Vidigal para hacer compras y comer al paso fue genial. La ambientación es un 10. Cada detalle es mágico. Tener un jardín encerrado entre rocas gigantes para desayunar o cenar . El baño un lujo. Había shampoo, jabón. toallones. cafetera. utensillos. todo de buen gusto. Claramente Fraser ama este lugar y permite que nosotros podamos también amarlo. No cambio la experiencia por nada. Un plus? el sonido del mar en la ventana y desayunar con los amigables monitos. TODO MÁGICO E INOLVIDABLE. GRACIAS FRASER POR LA ESTADÍA.❤️
Probably the most responsive set of hosts I’ve ever had! I never waited more than 5 minutes for Fraser or one of his co-hosts to reply. When I asked about access to laundry, they offered to do it for me, and my clothes were clean and folded without me having to lift a finger. Re: the cave cabin itself, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who has any sort of mobility issues. The hike up the steps is real.

Séjour dans la jungle en plein cœur de Rio. Super appartement pour un séjour entre amis.
Un joli petit coin de paradis au milieu de la jungle ! Tout près de la ville et de la jolie plage de Vidigal! Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir observer de près la petite famille de oustitis (ils s’approchent le matin, très tôt!) vous pourrez aussi voir le lever de soleil sur l’océan qui est vraiment spectaculaire depuis le rooftop de la maison d’hôte! Il y a deux chats adorables et vraiment très câlins, ils vont nous manquer !! Je recommande vivement ce logement, nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir !

A safe, community neighborhood next to the famous Sheraton hotel. We live here because we love the calm energy and safety of this location, safer than Copacabana and Ipanema while still being a walkable distance to Leblon, Ipanema, Vidigal and São Conrado.
There is a lovely beach in front of the Hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the house.
Public transport is quite easy, all stop in front of the Sheraton on the main road down in front of the house: can, taxi, bus, Uber, mototáxis and you can walk.
We are located perfectly between Barra da Tijuka / São Conrado and Leblon / Ipanema / Copacabana.
• 5-minute walk to the closest beach at Sheraton, it's beautiful.
• 5-minute walk to Vidigal Square. It's safe and good to visit, there is a small supermarket, pharmacy, basic food. It's great for fun nightlife and from Vidigal you hike the famous Two Brothers rock, which has phenomenal sunrise views.
• 3 minutes by van / Uber to Leblon (or a 10-minute walk)
• 8 minutes by van / Uber to Ipanema (or a 15-20 minute walk)
• 20 minutes by van / Uber to Copacabana
