We cannot say enough wonderful things about Leslie’s cottage…from the decor, cleanliness, location, and ease of communication with the host…this place does not disappoint!! They managed to beautifully renovate the over-100-year-old beach cottage to modernize it without removing an ounce of that old beach cottage charm. The upstairs deck with comfortable chairs was so peaceful and relaxing that all we could talk about was coming back during the warmer months for future stays! The back yard is literally the dunes, which are gorgeous…very private. The path to the beach is only a few steps past the neighbor’s house. Leslie has thought of everything to make our stay memorable - we only wish we could have stayed for more than one night, but there’s always next time! We are two moms that took a much-needed little break away from the daily carpools/sports/etc, and can’t wait to bring our kids and husbands along next time. Hands down, the best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed at ❤️

I needed to get away to clear my head after a particularly difficult few months. Wow, this is exactly what I needed. The cottage was so beautiful, and I felt so welcomed from the first minute I walked in. Leslie and Jake provided a wonderful coffee and tea bar which I really enjoyed. Every blanket and pillow and comforter were lovely and smelled good. The towels and even the bath mat were so soft I felt like I was in a five star hotel. The decor is exceptional and so clearly well thought out, I didn't want to leave and on top of all that, my host Leslie was attentive and made sure everything was perfect. She literally thought of everything. Oh, did I mention the incredible walk through an enchanted forest to Sunset Beach where I saw dolphins and an exquisite sunset. I cannot recommend this spectacular space and host enough.

We loved our stay at the Lighthouse Cottage. The decor and finishes were beautiful. The location around the corner from the beach was also great. The area was close enough to restaurants but also very peaceful. We will definitely be back.

Leslie’s place, in the peaceful borough of Cape May Point, is an absolute gem. The renovation retains all the charm of the original 1920 home while also opening the space up. The exterior and interior spaces and furnishings are lovely and very comfortable. The home was extremely neat and included everything we could have wanted. It felt like we were staying in a friend’s beloved beach home. Pearl Beach is a quick but lovely walk through a wooded path and over the dunes. We absolutely loved the peace and privacy of the beach, as well as the dolphin sightings and fabulous sunsets. The Cape May Lighthouse, WWII Lookout Tower, and wreckage of the SS Atlantus are short walks along the beach, and Cape May City is only a few minutes’ drive. In addition to providing a digital guidebook ahead of time, Leslie also left us a sweet treat at check-in, and very kindly checked in on us multiple times during our stay to see if we needed anything. Looking forward to a return visit!
