This is a beautiful location. Waterfront with dock, plus all of the amenities listed. Very upscale kitchen appliances and all one could possibly want for dishes, pots and pans, utensils. We drove to Boston and to the New Hampshire White Mountains, both reasonable day trips. I highly recommend John's house and plan to return.

It's an old house with plenty of rooms and space. It has its charm. It's quiet and peaceful. It's laid back. After a day, it grows on you. We enjoyed our stay. Jack and Gail are very pleasant and accommodating hosts. As soon as we arrived, Jack and Gail greeted us and welcomed us. They even gave us a tour of the house and outside the house. Gail was there when we needed her. She helped us find the wine bottle opener. Jack was there when we needed him. He lent us his laptop so that we could view some photos. What a couple. They are the best! If you like peace and quiet, this is the place. You will like it.

This was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway! John and Gail were great hosts giving us a tour of the house, introducing us to some family members, and allowing us to keep our kayaks on their dock for easy access to the river. The screened porch was our favorite spot to play games and relax. We hope to visit again!

A gorgeous setting for a quaint and quirky antique home. The porch and dock were our favorite spaces. We enjoyed the antiques and personal touches that made the house feel like a home. Jack & Gail were thoroughly accommodating and friendly. Kitchen has all you need including lovely hand made pottery bowls and mugs. It it easy to find, but away from it all. Perfect for a quiet getaway where kayaking, biking, hiking and simply soaking up the sea view were our main goals.
