Welcome to Lenevar Lounge - your perfect Holy City hideaway! A quick 3 mile drive into historic downtown Charleston, and inside of a quiet neighborhood, this location caters to every guest. You’ll find this studio to have just what you need for a quick pit stop or extended vacation. Simple, comfortable and elegant, the surroundings will allow you to relax and recharge after too much sun on your face. Welcome! This space is an attached mother-in-law suite from our primary home. There is a private entrance, and the space was renovated thoughtfully in order to provide you with maximum comfort and as little or as much interaction with us as desired. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet, yet the location allows you to be downtown or to Park Circle within 10 minutes. Folly beach is easy to get to as well, but always dependent on traffic. Easy access to all highway systems is just a stones throw away, which will allow you to explore and utilize your time in Charleston to the fullest. Enjoy! *The space sits on a slab, next to a crawl space home. Because of that, there are some quirks that come along with the renovation of an old home, despite how thoughtfully designed. The space has been insulated and soundproofed, and is typically very quiet. It regulates temperature well, with or without use of the mini HVAC split system. The houses HVAC blower is located in the units closet and kicks on from time to time, if the main house is being heated/cooled, which we use minimally and mostly seasonally. For very light sleepers, ear plugs are provided. The slab construction also requires a water sump pump, and with that sometimes creates sounds after water usage. Not always, but it can happen. Please do not worry, this is normal. One last quirk is more of a slab construction and “deep south” mix. Bugs! Being in a swampy climate, we got bugs! RARELY do they get inside, but it’s possible. Despite immaculate house cleaning and pest control measures, sometimes you may see a bug. Squash it? Catch and release it?
