Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway that nearly adjoins magnificent Philpott Lake park. Guesthouse is clean and comfortable. 16 opening windows. All cotton linens and towels. Full kitchen-living room, 1 bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom has stacked washer & dryer. Relax on the porch in this outdoors setting with porch swing and a nice babbling stream. 3,000 acres Philpott Lake is just a 6 minutes walk to the water; down the street at Salthouse Branch Park (2 minute walk away) which has 2 boat launch ramps and 2 designated swim areas. 100 sites for camping and RVs.

We enjoyed our visit and hope to come back again. It was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. Nearby Philpott Lake is beautiful.
Lowell was an amazing and gracious host! The place was exactly as described! He provided firewood and charcoal for the outside fire pit and bbq grill. Lowell went above and beyond and even took us out on his kayaks and boat for the day at the lake near by. 15/10 recommend would def stay again
Lowell is the best host on Airbnb. Period. His place is beautiful and if you need anything at all Lowell is always happy to help. Just a great, great experience. If you’re going to be anywhere in the area I highly recommend a stay!
