NAS Pensacola, Perdido Key and the heart of Downtown are just a quick drive away. Neighborhood Description: CLOSE TO THE WATER just off Gulf Beach Highway, you’ll have easy access to many local restaurants, bars, and activities. - 5-minute walk to Gary’s Brewery & Biergarten - Live Entertainment, Food Trucks, Trivia Nights, Dog Friendly! - 6-minute walk to Brother's BBQ - 3-minute walk to Rocky’s Bar (local dive!) - 13-minute drive to Downtown Pensacola - 14-minute drive to Perdido Key - 28-minute drive to Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. - 8-minute drive to the NAS Pensacola - 5-minute drive to Walmart, Target, and Aldi Watch the US Navy Blue Angels practice from the Bayou Grande! The practice schedule is available online. The Space: SLEEPS 7 - The Primary Bedroom has a King memory foam bed, Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, and Bedroom 3 has a Full memory foam mattress and a futon. EAT - Well-appointed kitchen with all the necessities including a Keurig for morning coffee and a George Foreman grill. The dining table seats 6 with counter/bar seating for 4 more. TV / WIFI- Wifi is included as well as TVs in the living room and bedroom 3. Wii U is also available. BATHROOM- The primary bathroom has dual sinks and a step-in shower. Guest bathroom is a tub/shower combo. OUTDOORS- Go barefoot in the white sand beach pit while enjoying a wood-burning fire or just relax on one of the two hammocks under strings of twinkling lights. Watch a movie on the projector screen from either the sectional sofa in the backyard, or the Adirondack chairs in the side yard. Great for those cool coastal nights! Other things to note: 3 Kayaks are available for an additional fee of $50. Please message us at the time of booking to make a reservation for the kayaks. You will be given a code to the storage unit where you can access the paddles, life jackets and kayak carts. Please note, life jackets are REQUIRED on the Bayou. Guests must be physically capable of loading the kayaks onto the small kayak carts and wheel them down to the Bayou which is a short 3-minute walk. Please do not leave the carts on the shore.
