The cabin is a good home base. It is convenient to the Baxter/Brainerd and surrounding areas. The closest parking access to the Paul Bunyan trail is 3mi from the cabin on Wise Lake Rd & Beaver Dam Rd. The interior of the cabin has two small bedrooms with limited storage space. The kitchen would benefit from under counter lighting. Cookware and eating utensils for meal prep are provided. Both beds were comfortable. The Spectrum internet service kept disconnecting. The car racing at BIR runs from 9 to 5. The owners were very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to our inquiries.

When we checked in the lock was unclear on how to use it so we had trouble getting in but they were very quick to help us get in. Wi-Fi was a little spotty while we had our stay, not something we expected to have issues with. Other than that it was a great stay and a beautiful spot.

As described! We had a wonderful time with my in laws and our 8 month old baby :-)! It was so quiet despite all the other cabins. We saw a lot of wildlife :-)!
