Our group stayed for 4 nights. Here are our comments: Pros: 1) Location is good in a quiet neighborhood. Oedo is the Shinjuku line for the subway commute. 5mins walk. Found two direct bus lines going to Shinjuku JR station and Shibuya JR station. 2) Big supermarket Life and coffee shops within walking distance. Cons: 1) As other reviewers mentioned, the stairs are very steep & tight/narrow , it’s challenging to move luggages around the stairs to the bedrooms. One bedroom is at the ground floor, kitchen & toilet & bath on 2nd floor, the other two bedrooms on 3rd floor. We were very tired walking the stairs after a long day touring Tokyo and not easy when needed to use toilet in the middle of the night. 12-14 steps between each floor. 2) The house was not cleaned from previous rental when we checked in at 4:45pm. 3) One of check-out reminders, the host suggested us to tidy the house to the original clean condition as we checked in. The host forgot we paid the cleaning fees.

Quiet neighborhood easy to find, small but you get a house to yourself so well worth the price!

Great location and place to escape to after the bustle of Tokyo. Neighbourhood very quiet. Comfortable beds. One significant issue was steepness and angle of stairs. Definitely, not suitable for anyone who has difficulty ascending or descending steep narrow steps. Definitely not an easy place to get bags of any weight or size up and down the three levels, so something to be mindful of. Disappointing aspect of stay was handrail (on two different sections) for steep steps was loose. Advised owner immediately upon arrival and was told it could not be repaired during our stay. Hand rail came away from wall as I was descending steps, and I fell down five of the last steps as a result. I was lucky only bruised and no broken bones. Naturally, this experience somewhat dampened my view of the Airbnb experience. Had also booked and paid for early check-in (1pm instead of 3pm). Place was not ready as cleaner was still cleaning it and we got in at 2.15pm. Overall, okay place
