We stayed at Marcelo’s to visit the Amalfi coast. We weren’t much at the place so it was ok, the neighborhood doesn’t feel that safe as a foreigner, so we didn’t go out at night. The apartment was clean and the kitchen had the necessary equipment. At the bathroom there wasn’t hand soap and toiletries so we had to buy some. You’re expected to take out the trash which we didn’t mind but it’s the first time we had to do so at an Airbnb stay. If you’re not planning to stay at the apartment it’s ok!

Great place for us to unwind during our stay in Salerno. 20 minute walk from the train station, and less than 10 from the main strip of restaurants and bars. Marcello was super helpful and messaged to check if we made it ok and if we needed anything. Would recommend to anyone!

Perfect zone. Elementary lodging with no decoration or extras. Very comfortable matrass, but you might wake up when neighbours come home because the front door falls shut with a bang. The kitchen isn't very practical and the water pressure is too low for hot water to reach it. If you need a normal shop (fruit, bakery, groceries, etc.) turn right on Mercanti, because the other way you will only find restaurants and souvenir shops.
