Welcome to the Little House. Situated near the lovely Farmers Arms Pub and the vibrant Daylesford Sunday Market, it's also just a 15 minute walk away from the bustling main street. The little house is a great home base to unwind and relax or get out and about and explore everything Daylesford has to offer. The little house has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, oven, kettle, toaster and fridge. It is an open plan living space with a TV and dining table. The space is compact but fits four guests. There are two bedrooms with block out blinds and curtains. Both beds (one queen size and one double) have electric blankets for the cold nights in winter. There are two portable fans too. The bathroom is small with shower, basin and toilet. There is a hairdryer too. Appliances To use the oven, you need to turn on the switch labelled “oven” behind the microwave. The TV is an older model which gets local channels from Bendigo, it is not a smart TV. You do need to press the remote buttons firmly. There is a gas heater for the cold winter. The little house stays warm and it’s advisable to leave the windows open even in winter otherwise they will fog up and have condensation on them in the morning. There is no air conditioning, however usually Daylesford has cool evenings, even in summer. There are two portable fans for you to use on warmer days. Reception and Wifi Phone reception in Daylesford can be hit and miss unless you’re with Optus or Telstra. Due to our location near Wombat Hill (which blocks the Daylesford tower) reception may be worse than on the Main Street. There is wifi at the little house. You will be able to use the wifi to watch things on your own devices (laptop, iPad/ tablet, phone etc). You can also call and receive texts using the wifi. Location We are a 15 minute walk from the Main Street, a 2 minute walk from The Farmers Arms and 5 minute walk from the Daylesford Sunday Market. Located in our back garden, the little house is quiet and private. Cleanliness We use professional cleaners at the little house. Please let us know if there are any issues.
