Flims is a stunning place to stay. In winter it boasts unrivalled skiing and the ski resort LAAX has won Worlds Best Ski Resort time and time again as well as countless awards for sustainability and visionary design.
In Spring and Summer Flims really comes to life. The luscious green fields, mountain peaks and wild flowers make hiking a top activity in the region. The mountain biking in this area is very popular. But best of all Flims is home to a mountain gem, the stunning turquoise paradise which is Lake Caumasee. Upon seeing it for the first time one feels as if they have discovered a secret hidden in the forest.
The apartment is luckily minutes away from this beauty which means no stress parking or carrying beach towels and things far.
The apartment is also located near to Lake Crestasee, matching its rival in beauty, one can spend a day relaxing by the lake, eat at the fine restaurant there, hire a rowing boat and dive from the platform.

Once you have arrived at the apartment it is really not necessary to use your car. A free shuttle bus runs between Fidaz - Flims - Laax - Falera throughout the year. A timetable will be in your apartment. In summer to start a hike higher up the mountain you can take a bus to Nargens and hike to Vorab, or to Bargis and hike over the Flimserstein via Cassons. Now there is also a bus via Trin to the Alp Mora to visit the marvellous glacial pools and even take a dip.
If you wish to drive to Crestasee or Laaxersee there is paid parking and your guestcacd gets you discounted entry. You can also drive to the rocks resort parking in Laax if you wish to take the ski lift from Laax some days but the parking does fill up in busy times so it is advised to take a bus or get the ski lift up from Flims. The home run down is a lovely red piste through the forest and ending at Legnes bar for a gentle apres ski drink.
