Could use some updates, but still a great place for our large group. Richard was great to work with and was typically quick to respond to any messages.

Had a great stay! Everything we expected and had exactly what we needed as a group of 17! Had a great experience with floating too, they picked us up and dropped us off at the house.

First the pros- There were plenty of beds for our large group and the beds were comfortable. The place was clean. It was very convenient to be picked up and dropped off for the float trip at our place. Richard was a great communicator, very prompt with all responses. There’s a covered porch with plenty of seating for eating. Nice firepit area. The first floor was nice and cool, AC was working great. Nice secluded location. Now the cons- There is no AC on the top floor where the majority of the beds are. It was very hot and uncomfortable, even with all fans going. The hot tub is literally busted up, completely non functional. No outdoor lighting. The grills are very cheap, hard to get charcoal going/keep it going. No grill utensils. The float trip through Richard’s outfitter is very long, they say seven miles but it was more like eight plus. No door on one of the bedrooms. No locks on a door to the bathroom.

Very nice and communicative hosts via messaging. No check out / house instruction book. Not pictured is the upstairs. A common area with a bunch of beds is why it sleeps so many. Beds are somewhat uncomfortable. House is very old so it lacks things like wall outlets, etc. Looks like they are putting work in towards renovating the place such as new amenities in the kitchen.
