Santa Cruz is on a short journey and can offer you amazing parks, charming streets, and a beautiful marina where you can admire amazing cruise ships. This is a perfect location if you want to learn more about local culture by visiting The Auditorio de Tenerife, or Biblioteca Municipal which is open 24h. There are also gorgeous public pools, museums, and Palmetum (botanic garden).

You are basically 6 min drive / 10 min walk from Las Teresita beach (you have a walking shortcut via Calle La Florida).
San Andres village center, with restaurants, a church, a bank, a medical center and shops is only a 5 min drive.
The Rural Park Anaga is 2 km away, but you pretty much see it in front of you from the window. The total area of the park covers 140 km² and is declared Biosphere Reserve.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is 15 min away if you drive, 30 min if you go by bike, or 2 hours walk.
I recommend you rent a car in order to fully enjoy and access in comfort all that the Island has to offer.
However, public transport (TITSA) is well-accessible and reliable.
Bus line 910, departing every 10-15 minutes, will connect you with the capital Santa Cruz and from there you will find connections with all the parts of the island.
There are also some excellent bike routes, with a classic one for pedal lovers which goes parallel to the ocean.
