The suite is very nice and the furnishings and amenities are excellent. The location has good access to public transport. It is also convenient for travelling to White Rock and the USA since it is close to the Deas tunnel. I have made suggestions to the host on minor issues relating to communications.

Place was beautiful, spotless and well appointed, as advertised. Gave 4 stars (would have been 4 1/2 if that was possible) only because of the following: 1. Could not check-in until 5 due to late check-out of previous guest, something we only discovered when we texted Cong to say we would be coming at 2 to drop off luggage. Luckily we were visiting with our daughter so had someplace to wait. 2. Incorrect WiFi password was provided, which Cong eventually corrected after receiving our message. However, we were unable to immediately contact our daughter on arrival to let her know we were in for the night. 3. Bed was extra firm which was difficult with my artificial hip. This, of course, is a personal preference 4. Would benefit by having access to tv for those who like to relax during down time, although not listed as an amenity. These items only detracted slightly from our stay. We were very impressed with the quiet neighborhood and excellent bathroom and laundry.

Fantastic place when climate is warm, or if you prefer cool room temperature (20C). Read on if you expect warm or stable room temperature. This is a well built guest suite in a beautiful house. It’s evidently planned at construction, demonstrated by matching high ceiling, crown molding, & subfloor heating. One consequence of the high ceiling is hot air is way up there. Meanwhile subfloor heating means the floor conducts heat well (not good at retaining). Now the key point: Temperature sensor & control are in the main house, which is much bigger. As a result when subfloor heating is on, the suite would heat up to 28C before cooling to 22C, then repeat. Be prepared to put on/off jackets periodically during the day & add/remove blankets during night. Be sure to message host to turn on subfloor heating (unless you prefer 20C). The thermostat & vent in the bedroom do NOT do anything. Other than having to choose between cool or fluctuating temperature, everything else was outstanding.
