This rustic cabin in the woods is a private 10 acre oasis just 15 minutes from Panorama and 10 minutes to Invermere. Explore your private 10 acres, check out the many hiking, biking & cross country ski trails right outside the door. Lake Lilian just an easy 5 minute walk away for swimming & skating. Nestled in the trees, set on the edge of toby canyon cliffs you have an amazing view from every window. When you walk in the cabin you are greeted right away by the amazing views from the large picture windows. The main living with a wood burning stove is a cozy space to relax after a big day of adventure. Play board games on the large ottoman or just put your feet up and relax with a good book or movie. The kitchen is large and bright with all the modern appliances you need to make some delicious meals. The BBQ is located just outside the kitchen door on the wrap around, covered deck. There is a slow cooker available as well. The dining area is surrounded by windows and views and in the summer you have the option of alfresco dining out on the huge patio area with the sound of Toby Creek rushing below. The main floor has two bedrooms and a shared bath with walk in tiled shower. One bedroom has a queen with loft bunk bed and the other one queen bed. The loft area is another great spot to take in the views of the mountains and canyon below. The bean bag chair is a great place to read, write or take a nap. There is a dedicated workspace in the loft if you really must work! The master bedroom is right off the loft with a large king sized bed and lovely tree and canyon/creek views. It has an attached ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. In the basement you will find another cozy living space with a puzzle or games table, ping pong table, air hockey table and some toys for the little ones. This space has a large TV for movies and a wood burning stove. This level also has a full bathroom with walk in shower. Outside you will find a huge wrap around deck that is closed in and gated at both ends. There are several seating areas for you to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as well as a fire pit with big Adirondack chairs. The cabin is set on 10 acres of private forest land for you to explore. The views as you walk are breathtaking. Just use caution and do not approach cliff edges or walk at night. Please walk on the land with respect and do not leave any trash or other litter around. For me this space holds something just a little bit magical.
