Saving this 1925 home was a labor of love—from siding and a new porch to exposing original hardwood and opening up ceilings, we can’t wait for you to enjoy the fun art, oddities, and other eclectic finds from mostly local shops! We are conveniently located to downtown Jefferson City and all of the food and thrift shops in the Old Munichburg neighborhood. (Easy access to Highway 50!) This 1925 home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, small dining area, office space, plus a stacked washer & dryer (purchased in 2023). It is decorated with almost all quirky, homemade art or anything that catches the eye.

I had my wedding in Jeff City that weekend so my bridal party and I stayed there for the weekend. Kim was super amazing and accommodating for us. The place was very homey and just adorable.
Great place to stay for the weekend! Close to all the things we needed to drive to. Loved all the quirky decor and the setup of the house. Beds were comfy, clean and the shower is newly installed. Host was very helpful and courteous. We did find this house to be a little loud during sleeping hours. If you are a light sleeper take that into account- emergency vehicle sirens driving by and diesel trucks unloading at prairie farms. I’d stay here again :)
Kim’s place was lovely. We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the house as well as all of the quirky decorations placed strategically around the living areas. Hosts had a book dedicated for guests to doodle in before leaving! Will definitely stay again soon!
Kim was absolutely wonderful. Went above and beyond the entire time!

Located just off of Highway 50, you are about a mile from downtown Jefferson City and the Capitol. Located within walking distance to the "Old Munichburg" or "Southside" neighborhood, featuring several restaurants, local ice cream, floral/gift shop, and more. Nothing is very far from this location!
(Being located extremely near downtown/Highway 50 means some sirens or other emergency vehicles may be heard at any time.)
Parking at the property is adjacent to the home in a lot; no street parking.
You are able to walk to (with a small hill coming home): Central Dairy, Ice Cream Factory, Ecco Lounge (JC's oldest restaurant), Busch's Floral & Gifts, and more.
Uber/Lyft are available in Jefferson City but may not be as easy to find as in larger cities.

My husband, Tyler, and I are business-owners in Jefferson City, Missouri. We have two elementary aged kids that keep us busy with activities! We love being outdoors and hiking in new places. We are proud to now host several airbnbs ourselves and lease commercial space as well.
