Mirepoix is just 4.5km away. It is a beautiful medieval town, with a bustling square with numerous bars and restaurants. There is a fantastic market every Monday morning, and two good supermarkets for stocking up on essentials.
The Pyrenees are only 30 minutes away by car, and Andorra can be reached in under 2 hours, for duty free shopping. There are many things to do in the area - horse-riding, kayaking, tree-top climbing, parapenting, parachuting, fishing, tennis and cycling - we have 4 mountain bikes that clients can borrow. We also have an outdoor table tennis table in the garden, as well as a badminton net and safe archery set.
The countryside around the house is home to deer, sanglier, foxes and badgers, as well as numerous birds of prey.

A car is essential. We are one hour from Toulouse Blagnac Airport, and 35 minutes from Carcassonne Airport. Rail stations are available at Castelnaudary, Bram and Pamiers.
