The living room does have a stunning view over the beach, it’s particularly beautiful at sunset to watch the sun go down sitting on the balcony. The house overall is very nice, spacious and full of light. It could however be a little cleaner and tidier, for instance the linen and towels didn’t smell fresh. The area is residential and calm, with a local bus stop just 3 minutes away and an Intercity bust stop 10 minutes away (Atawhai). Just bear in mind that local buses only operate until 7pm in case you don’t have own transport to go out at night. Since I arrived late, Rory was so nice to go and pick me up at the city centre bus stop, it was a really kind gesture. Overall a good experience.
