We had a fabulous stay at Josh’s property. We had the main floor of the cottage, the roost and the tiny home - it was the perfect property for our family from overseas to stay while also allowing folks to have their own privacy. The cottage is stunning and stocked with all you need. It was perfect for two little kids with toys and a trampoline as well. Tina and Peter were so lovely and we even got to have some of the eggs from the chickens. The trails behind the cottage were beautiful with all the fall leaves. The tiny home was amazing as well. The heater worked great when the nights were cooler and we were impressed with the water pressure for the shower. It is very close to stores in Uxbridge for groceries and just a short trip to Port Perry for exploring We are so grateful to have stayed at this property and can’t wait to come back

We rented Mackenzie Cottage and The Roost on our wedding weekend, so that we could have a place to stay close to our venue and host a family bbq on the night before our wedding. It was awesome! The pool and backyard were perfect for hosting our family, and since it was a warm weekend, it was nice to cool off in the pool. Although there was no A/C, we made use of all of the fans provided to keep air circulating, and it cooled down really well with all of the windows open during some rainfall. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the historical aspects of the home, and it was beautiful for taking pictures on our wedding morning. We had two separate spaces to get ready, so it was perfect for our photographer to float back and forth between the cottage and the garage loft. We had everything we needed! Josh was easy to communicate with and very friendly. He allowed us early check in and late check out, which was appreciated! Highly recommended!
