This place was just awesome. The hosts were super friendly and I had the best sleep! It was peaceful, cozy and homey and it just felt so familiar to me. Highly recommend!!

My partner and I were moving me to Toronto from Thunder Bay and decided to stop in the Espanola area overnight. I booked this location just hoping for a decent bed to rest in, as we usually stop at Chutes overnight! Boy am I glad we did. Just past Nipigon, my car started making an awful noise. Knowing we wouldn't get to a mechanic anytime soon, at least without great cost, we crawled our way to Espanola and arrived around 4:30 in the morning (I found out later it was not one but two failing wheel bearings... a great lesson on prioritizing a safety before such a trip, though gratefully we did not break down before I was able to get to a mechanic). I did my best to keep Karen updated, and not only was she attentive and assuring, but she ensured we made it in safely and had access to the building. After such an exhausting and stressful day of travel, we found immense comfort in the cleanliness, privacy, and beauty of this space. It was exactly what we needed, and we are so grateful!

Karen and Dan were incredibly kind and inviting, the place was wonderful and the dogs were very friendly. There was fresh fruit, juice and water in the fridge, which was appreciated, and the area is very scenic!

We had a great stay at Karen and Dan’s place. The barn was exactly as described and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great sleep.

The place was same as shown in the photos. Karen and Dan both were very friendly and helpful towards giving instructions for finding the place because of road closure. Also, the countryside beauty was memorable too. Overall it was a great experience.
