This location is a great deal if central Boston is outside your budget. We stayed as a group of four who are in Boston at a work event. We had a car available and most of Boston and Cambridge was within an easy 15 minute drive. There was plenty of space and the kitchen was workable for shared cooking. The only issue we had with the place was the heating: The upstairs is always too hot while the downstairs with kitchen and living room is really cold. Bring slippers or thick socks! If everyone closes their bedroom doors at night, the upstairs bedrooms will get extremely hot because the thermostat is located in a room without any heating vents. So we slept with our bedroom doors open.

This is a great place for a large family/group. There are 4 bedrooms and two extra rollaway beds if needed. The house warmed up nicely so it was great for us Californians who were a bit weary about the temperature we were going to encounter. All the main locations we were interested in visiting never seemed more than a 15 min Uber ride. We all enjoyed our stay at Charlie’s place! Also, thank you to the maintenance crew on site. They were extremely helpful and friendly.
