Sunny apartment in wonderful location. We found the staircase dangerously steep. Not enough space for our clothes. My wife and I had only one small under bed drawer each. The apartment was not professionally cleaned before our arrival even though we were charged a cleaning fee. The fridge smelled from old moldy yogurt, the freezer was disgustingly filthy, there was mildew on the bathroom ceiling, and our small under bed drawers were dirty. We were not informed that there would be construction right outside the bedroom windows starting every morning at 7 AM. We feel we were overcharged for having paid more than $3,200 for the week.

We had an amazing stay at Charlotte's Flat in Amsterdam! Perfect Location in the heart of Amsterdam (Jordaan) surrounded by cafes and bars. Easy access to all the main attractions and the nightlife. The property was exactly what we needed. Thank you Charlotte for the easy communication, your fast responses and the lovely welcome!

This is a lovely, clean and tidy apartment in a great location, close to the train station and major tourist sights. It's on a wide street with tons of amazing restaurants and cafes close by. Our bed linens felt like we were in a 4 star hotel, and the apartment was spotless when we arrived. The floors are newly refinished so one needs to take their shoes off before entering. This is a private residence, not a dedicated Airbnb rental, so one needs to have a respectful attitude and realize you have been invited into someone's home. I think that's easier for younger folks, but it was a little awkward for us oldsters to find a fridge full of someone else's food. The entry key might be a bit hard to find in the dark, and we were a little confused about whether to deadbolt the outside door, or just pull it shut (pull HARD!) The key turns very difficultly, and I was a little worried about breaking it off in the lock. Just minor little stresses for a lovely place to stay in an amazing city.
