Our family had a really great time and I could only imagine more fun in summer. We stayed for the holidays with a family of those celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah. Mia saved the trip by lending a forgotten menora. They set up a Christmas tree for us too! The house and property is really beautiful, 450+ years old. Picturesque Catalunyan rod iron and glass, old wood, and beautiful tiles. Plenty of room, and free space for kids to be kids. My only negative was there are cameras inside the house. When I said I wasn’t comfortable Mia immediately came and covered them up. She explained they are for security when the house is empty. I really appreciated her understanding and prompt action. The hosts also were quick to communicate with all needs, they were able to provide a babysitter who was an English teacher at the local school, and massage therapy at the house. The terrace was incredible for our meals in the warm Spanish sun. The property is very safe and secure, the descending family members live on the surrounding properties. Beautiful garden! Walk to town and the beach. Was still happening in town during winter unlike last year in Tossa de Mar. Barcelona easy to access in less than an hour. Really thankful for a wonderful vacation! Mia was an excellent host. We will be back.

If you are looking for a luxurious villa with attentive and dedicated ownership located in a beautiful beach town with easy access to Barcelona this is your spot. We were a group of 8 friends with 3 kids that fit into the villa very comfortably, the bedrooms were well sized and the layout was designed perfectly for our group. The villa has many spaces for large groups of people to congregate and enjoy beautiful views of Pineda Del Mar. There were rooms we never even used. The kids had a blast exploring the villa and it’s grounds whether playing hide and seek in the loft poker room or out on the grounds in the manicured field, around the horse in the stable or with the peacock in its habitat. When not hopping a train to Barcelona, we were perfectly happy exploring the many wonderful beachfront stores and restaurants in the town but many of the highlights came right on the villa grounds using the beautiful pool and outdoor grotto and kitchen. The villa was more than a place to rest before seeing Sagrada Família, the gothic section of Barcelona, FC Barcelona or park Güell. There were days were the kids just wanted to use the five star pool and play ping pong (don’t tell anyone but I did not mind it either). Mia and Marc made our trip amazing. I highly recommend this villa experience. One last tip, ask Mia and Marc to set up a meal at the villa. Marc is an amazing chef and It will be the best meal experience of your stay.

La estancia en la casa de Marc ha dejado mucho que desear. Organizamos un viaje familiar para pasar un fin de semana en una casa grande con piscina por la zona y no ha sido para nada como esperabamos. Nada más llegar el viernes la casa estaba congelada, y no había forma de conectar la calefacción. De la misma forma no funcionaba el agua caliente. Llamaos a los propietarios y aunque nos dijeron que intentarían arreglarlo esa noche, no fue hasta el día siguiente bien entrado el día que lo consiguieron solucionar. Esto derivó en que tuvieramos que pasar todo el sábado sin duchar y habiendo pasado una mala noche muy fría. La casa es muy bonita y se corresponde con la realidad, pero no está al nivel del precio que se paga por ella. No se puede pedir esas cantidades d dinero por noche y luego no tener un servicio que esté atento si surgen incidentes, que entenedemos perfectamente que pueden surgir. Si pago para tener una casa de lujo espero que cosas básicas como el agua caliente o la calefacción no fallen, y que si fallan al menos haya un servicio de asitencia rápido en concordancia con el nivel que se le presupone a la casa. Me parece muy curioso que se pusiera tanta atención a la hora de validar nuestro grupo para poder hacer la reserva, preguntando edades y similares y una vez cobrado se hayan olvidado de cosas básicas como el agua caliente. Una decepción, un quiero y no puedo de ser una casa de lujo.
