Impressive home and property, close to great beaches and excellent restaurants, as well as all the great outdoor activities that Costa Rica is famous for. Very nice ocean views and amazing pool, as well as 2 outdoor jetted tubs, a Tilapia pond and a water fall on the property! Property is complete with large outdoor kitchen, Gazebo, covered and gated garage, gate to property, outdoor shower and bathroom, and numerous other amenities. Please note: 1. A 4WD is recommended, or at minimum, an SUV with good clearance as the last hill to the property is unpaved and steep. 2. Currently, wi-fi is only through an extender from the caretaker's cottage. Service varies from good to almost non-existent. If this is important to you, please do not rent until this is taken care of 3. 4 of the bedrooms are in the main house, and 2 are in the ranchero which is pleasant, but doesn't have AC or internet. There are fans that work well. There isn't internet in the ranchero and it is a pretty steep hill, but short hill to get to the ranchero.

The listing of the house we booked is inaccurate. The listing stated that there were 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, but in reality, there are only 4 bedrooms with 4 beds and 2.5 baths. The bathrooms require maintenance, and one of the toilets had a leakage issue with a bad smell and dirty water on the floor took them four days to repair. This caused some members of our group to leave due to the issue. After a few hours of confusion the host informed us that there is a ranch house down a steep road far from the main house with challenging access. The ranch house had dirty rooms with no essentials and no cell coverage or internet. The main house also had no internet and very bad cell coverage. The main router is in the person's house who takes care of the land, but they installed an extender at the main house that is not even working. Even if it works, the speed is not enough for simple stuff, so we didn't have internet for 90% of the time. There is more to say about our bad experience ...
