Lake, Orchard and Lifestyle vibe just 5 minute walk to the beach. Nestled between Kalamalka and Wood lake, this new, fully licensed, warm and inviting, modern farmhouse suite has everything you will need. Private key pad entry, 2 parking spots, outdoor sitting and dining area, propane fire pit and BBQ, grassy area with gardens and rock walls. Large 950 square foot, two bed, one bath, living and full kitchen is perfect for a small family or 2 couples. Bring your boat as we have lots of parking!! This is a brand new self contained suite that is attached to our family home. The space is very cozy, you will find all the amenities needed. Outside is your own private fenced yard space, with a beautiful and tranquil, well maintained garden. A glass of wine in the courtyard space after a long day at the lake is a perfect way to end your day. Being just a 2 bedroom suite, it is best suited for either 2 couples or a small family. We have allowed upto 5 guests total for those families or couples travelling with a young child that may be suitable to sleep on an air mattress in the living room, but it's certainly best suited for 2 adults + 1-2 children or 4 adults. You will find fresh linens upon arrival, a selection of coffee & teas to welcome your first morning and some tasty snacks. When in season from time to time we like to also leave fresh fruit from the local farm.

When my parents, my sister and I arrived at the guesthouse in Lake Country we were immediately spoiled with a friendly welcome note, a beautiful bottle of white wine, along with fresh local fruits and vegetables to enjoy. The décor was very inviting and the place was spotlessly clean! The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed much of our time outside in the backyard enjoying the seating area around the fire table. The view of the lake was beautiful to wake up to every morning and we enjoyed our morning coffee outside while taking in the picturesque landscape. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We really appreciated the propane barbecue for cooking and the air conditioning for the 30+ temps while visiting. Our host Sandy was very friendly and welcoming as well. We loved Oyama and the fresh market at the bottom of the hill. The guesthouse was everything and more than we expected. We hope to visit again soon!

Sandy and Colin were such great hosts, so friendly and accommodating. Sandy adds her special touch’s inside and out to a pristine and beautifully decorated place with everything you need for your stay. Oyama is a quiet little vacation gem with beautiful lakes and lots to do all within walking distance of Sandy and Colin’s place! Highly recommend this stay for your visit to the Okanagan!

Just a short walk down the road you will be at the famous Gatkze Farm, where you can find fresh produce, cooking essentials, coffee and more. One of the best Italian Restaraunts in Lake Country, Pane Vinno is less than 5 minute walk. There are bike rentals, paddle board shop and water craft rentals all walking distance.
At the bottom of our road is the intersection that separates Wood Lake & Kalamalka Lakes, with Pelemwash Way that wraps right around the lake and ties into the famous Okanagan Rail Trail.
Not far away you can hike up through Spion Kopp, and we are less than 10 minutes driving from the World Famous Predator Ridge Golf Course.
For kids, the Oyama Zip Line Adventure park is a short 5-10 minute drive away and makes for a great family outing experience.
If you have not been, the Kangaroo Farm just behind the Kelowna Airport, approx. 15-20minute drive away is also a must visit for the entire family!
For those interested in wine tours, there are a number of local tour companies that will pick you up and take you to all the local wineries (50th Parallel, Gray Monk, Intrique, O'Rourkes, Aarowleaf Cellars, X'Nhillo, Blind Tiger and any other newer boutique wineries.

出行信息

A short 4-5 minute walk down the road and you can walk all throughout Oyama and around the lake if you like. There are bike & e-bike rentals at the bottom of our road that can be a fun way to explore the local area. The path around Wood Lake is all flat and level, making it accessible for all ages.
The boat launch at Wood Lake is just 5 minutes down the road as well. You are welcome to bring your boat as we have lots of extra parking for a boat and trailer.
