Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, Jean a été très accueillant et attentionné. Il y a tellement de choses à visiter dans les alentours qu'en 5 jours nous n'avions pas fait le tour, nous souhaitons revenir!

Deborah and Jean were great hosts, super helpful and friendly. They gave us lots of local recommendations to explore the beautiful area and gave us a lovely tour around their calvados and cider farm and tasting. the house was lovely and beautifully decorated. we would thoroughly recommend a stay, tranquil and welcoming.

This was a holiday of a lifetime for our family. There was something for everyone. For me a daily walk in the beautiful, picturesque grounds of the chateau each morning with our dogs was special. My husband and our grandchildren enjoyed cycling through the woods and around the pretty countryside on hired bikes. The house is very spacious, well equipped, open plan and full of interesting artefacts and books; ( the D Day Landings and the battle of Normandy was our favourite!) Make sure you visit the cider farm next door where you will learn the history of the chateau and taste some delicious ciders and calvados! The Bayeux Tapestry is a must. The old town and cathedral is worth visiting. There are some good restaurants too ( Le Garde Manger ) but our favourite was La Sapiniere at Omaha Beach ( best beach in the area) We were fortunate to have sun every day with very little rain so had several days there. Our host Jean was friendly, helpful ( restaurants, car repairs) and welcoming.

Magnifique longère dans un merveilleux parc . Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et accessibles. La distillerie à proximité vaut le détour et tous les produits, du jus de pomme en passant par le cidre, puis le calva sont de belles réussites. Les balades dans les vergers permettent de respirer le calme et la quiétude des lieux. Merci pour cette belle adresse.
