Great apartment right in the heart of the Northern Quarter.

Good location with lots of restaurants. Bad points: 1) hidden fees - was told we had to pay a cleaning fee which was not mentioned on the listing so I refused which they accepted so I think they were just trying their luck. 2) deposit return - was told deposit would be refunded on check out, then was told it would be back by 4pm on the day of check out. 6pm rolled around so I phoned to enquire and was told it would take 3-5 working days which I kicked off about and then they returned it within the hour. Again, I think they were trying their luck. 3) awful noise from fan system - the apartment we were given was on the top floor and when we got into the bedroom the whole room was shaking and making a loud whirring noise. We were told that it was the fan system on the roof. We were told that one person was to stay in the second bedroom where you could still hear the noise but not as bad and less shaking and we’re given another room on a different floor. Not ideal.
