Armonia Market and Sea is a luxurious apartment in the historic center. Here, the scents and flavors of yesteryear still find their perfect expression today. The house, with 2 balconies and a splendid sea view, overlooks the most authentic Market of Ortigia. This environment is characterized by the classic “banniate”, so called in Sicilian dialect, as well as harmonious cries of the sellers to draw attention to their local delicacies. The apartment offers 2 bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom The name, inspired by the 'Harmony' context, is the combination of the contemporary environment that blends architectural hints of the island, characteristically: stone and vaulted ceilings. The design of this apartment goes beyond the definition of beautiful and welcoming, distinguished by fine finishes and furnishings, purely Made in Italy. The soft lights and warm colors make the ambience comfortable as well as one of a kind. The house is located on the first floor of an old building in a pedestrian street in the historic center. The area, in addition to offering an outdoor market every morning, offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars, artisan ice cream parlors and much more. With an area of about 90 square meters, the apartment has a kitchen, living room and 2 bedrooms respectively with ensuite bathrooms. The large living room has a balcony with sea view and is furnished with a velvet sofa, a fine marble coffee table, a 75'' TV and an artisan wooden bookcase. The bespoke kitchen offers a marble countertop, a 4-burner range, a marble table and 4 chairs. In addition, the kitchen is equipped with all appliances: oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.. The master bedroom offers a balcony with a sea view, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, furnished with a double bed, a double walk-in closet and TV. The second bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom with a shower, double bed, large wardrobe, writing desk and TV.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Ortigia and the market… it was a great place to return to and relax, a little noisy early morning when the market was setting up but it did not make our stay unpleasant, it gave us a glimpse into local life…
The apartment is located in the market itself. We had a view of fish stand out of the living room window. We loved the location but if you are bothered by the smells and sounds of a busy market, it might not be for you. But it is a great way to be immersed in the local flavor and you are one step away from wonderful produce and restaurants. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable for the four of us.
A beautifully renovated and furnished apartment right in the heart of Ortegia's market (fish, veg, other). Hectic, noisy, busy - we loved it! And then around 6pm, quiet as a mouse. Great restaurants right downstairs from the apartment (we loved Burgio!) A short walk to everything else in Ortegia, and easy to get to the bus and train on mainland Siracusa.
Sergio greeted us and was very helpful and friendly. The apartment is on a very bustling street right above the daily market so it was not an easy place to get to. Sergio was able to find us and took us to the apartment. Parking garage is very close, which was very convenient. The apartment was smaller than expected. Comfortable beds and linens and pillows were of good quality. We wanted to cook while we were there because of the market being right downstairs but the apartment was not well stocked with things like salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar etc., things that we are used to having when we stay at an airbnb. The apartment had more of a hotel room feel to it. The 2 bedrooms are lovely but the front bedroom is very hard to get a good nigh's sleep. The market begins to set up at 4am and is loud. The host provided earplugs, but they did not help. The best part of this apartment is that it is walkable to all of the historic sights, restaurants and charming shops and alleyways.
The appartment was very nice and high quality. Suprisingly, there was no water supply in the flat. We were smoothly upgraded to a bigger lovely appartment with two balconies, three bedrooms and better location. Well sorted.

The house is located on the market street, area full of restaurants, bars, etc... Ideal location to reach most of the interesting places of Ortigia. Few steps from Piazza Duomo, 200 meters away from Ortigia's popular street market and just 200 meters away from the touristic port, with a magic atmosphere, hosting yacht and sailing boat from all over the world, where is great to enjoy the sunset or walks by the water between bars, restaurants and ice-cream parlors. Ortigia, Unesco heritage was easily transformed into a natural fortress with harbors and was big enough that it could hold a significant population in ancient times. Therefore, the history of Ortigia is synonymous with the early history of Syracuse. Walking around the Ortigia, allows to face many buildings characterized by mixed architectural styles, the Sicilian Baroque and the Hebrew Israelite styles, with elements that go back to the Medieval and Renaissance periods. These architectural styles are also demonstrated throughout the narrow alleyways and winding streets that make up the neighborhood. In the near vicinity you can savor some of the tastiest foods the island has to offer. If your appetite calls for mouthwatering typical Sicilian specialties, just walk out of the building to find numerous local options.
It is possible to reach multiple services and interesting places by walking. Paid public parking is available 150 meters from the house.
