Fantastic home with a wrap around porch that worked well with all the children and adults. Boardwalk was within walking distance. Asbury Avenue has a variety of stores and eateries.

Great location, clean , host gracious .seems as though property is in the process of being modified, house was built in 1900. The updates are patch worked. Property is between two buildings being constructed. Lots of debris property was clean and well appointed. Dormitory sleeping on third floor / hallway upstairs is very very very narrow leading to bathroom Some exposed electrical on floor in bathroom . Curtain closets original 1900 flooring gaps and painted. Mismatched cabinets in kitchen / slant to floors. They had beach chairs and a wagon along with a Grill and seating outback, which was very nice and super helpful. The downstairs is more updated than the upstairs. It is a easy walk to the beach. It is right on Asberry, which is in the heart of the shopping district.. The hot water remained consistent which is important when you have a large group. It is a short walk to grocery store. House is consistent with being from 1900 . Overall satisfied garbage situation in back is bad

The location of this home is great and it has lots of potential! Our stay was unfortunately disrupted by issues with the stove not working. We had a total of 3 separate stoves there during our 3 night stay. The owner/ manager was very responsive. However, I did not feel he was empathetic or understanding to our inconveniences, namely the night we had the fire department arrive because the replacement stove caught fire. They expressed big concerns about the amount of smoke detectors in the home; there were none on the first level! Matt offered to buy us pizza, when our fresh tuna/ fried green tomato dinner was ruined but rescinded that offer when I told him I’d also be asking airBnB for a partial refund since we didn’t have use of promised amenities, etc. There was also a $200 deposit required for Beach tags (which WAS refunded) but that price was not fully disclosed until arrival and was a bit unexpected as tags are usually provided in beach rentals, in my experience.

We had great time in this house visiting the beach by walk both in the mornings and evenings. The property itself is old but renovated, pending some last minute touch up and finishes. We didn’t use one of the rooms with bunk beds due to the small size and our kids felt it is too congested to enter or exit. Nevertheless, we had enough other rooms and beds to sleep. One important thing to note, this place don’t provide sheets and towels. This wasn’t mentioned in the actual Airbnb advertisement, but was communicated the day we travelled so we were able to pick them from our homes. No fee discount was provided by the host for this last minute inconvenience, though an apology was shared 😊.
