This is a great place to stay in Baler. Its near the beach and a tricycle away from Baler's restos and cafe. Its nice and cozy and they have an adorable resident dog.

Our stay at Casa was great. Everything went smoothly, even if I booked just a day in advance. The room was nicer than I expected, and the treats were a nice surprise. Our host arranged for a trike to pick us up at the Joy Bus terminal, so we didn't have problems locating the house. She gave us tips on the best food choices and even hooked us up with a surf instructor. She had some great stories as well. The only thing some guests might consider a downside is the smell of dog in the common area. In my opinion, it's not a deal breaker; you get used to it. I really didn't mind it because Kobe is a super friendly doberman. If you don't like dogs or are sensitive to their odors, then this might not be the place for you. But really, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place at it's price range and proximity to the beach. Will definitely be back.

Our overall stay at Casa was excellent. The owner gave us suggestions and tips on where to go, what to do etc. She is very approachable and friendly 😊

Casa Lamierda is not situated along the road. It is located a few houses at the back of another transient house (Duldulao). The unnamed street going to it from the main road is unpaved and narrow but can fit an SUV. If you are commuting, tell the tricycle driver that you are going to Sabang "malapit sa court" (near the court). In spite of Casa's proximity to the beach, you can still sleep well at night because the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful during night time. My family liked the place. The host, Trizha, made sure that our stay will be comfortable. She even allowed us to use her kitchen to cook breakfast. If you are a pet lover, you will surely be entertained by her dogs, Lulu and Kobe. If you are a group of 5 adults, I would suggest that you take the room for 8 people.
